Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (9–1) (0980) : This syllabus is graded from 9 to 1 but is otherwise the same as Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580). You will find past papers and other resources for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580) that may be useful for teaching Cambridge IGCSE (9-1) Mathematics. 0980 syllabus replaces Cambridge IGCSE (9-1) Mathematics (0626) (UK only) from 2019 onwards. The last series for Cambridge IGCSE (9-1) Mathematics (0626) will be November 2019.

Core syllabus content, or who are expected to achieve a grade 4 or below, should be entered for Paper 1 and Paper 3. These candidates will be eligible for grades 1 to 5.
Extended syllabus content and who are expected to achieve a grade 5 or above should be entered for Paper 2 and Paper 4. These candidates will be eligible for grades 3 to 9.
